Why did your site kick me out while playing? Why wasn’t I brought to my seat when the game started? Why do I keep getting these internet delays at your site that I don’t get anywhere else?
Occasionally, people experience intermittent internet delays which can cause interruptions or slowdowns in the data exchange rate between a user's modem and our servers. This most frequently happens when an ISP has a hub that is being heavily trafficked, like on weekends or evenings.
If this is a persistent problem for you, you may want to contact your internet service provider for troubleshooting assistance.
You guys are asking me to download Flash. I already have that! What’s up with that?
Even though Flash may already be installed on your computer, it may not be interacting properly with our software. The solution to this problem will require you to follow a set of very specific but simple instructions:
- Log out of the Club program. Close any other programs that may be running on your computer.
- Remove Flash from your computer using the following link from Adobe (the publisher of Flash). This link must be used to remove all components of Flash so we can start over from scratch: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe
- Reinstall Flash on your computer using the following link from Adobe: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash
- Log back into the Club program. The problem should be completely resolved.
Why can’t I see the pages in Digital Bluff?
It may be that your computer’s security settings aren’t allowing you to view the magazine. We have an easy fix for this, but you will need to follow these instructions exactly as written:
- Go to Internet Explorer and click on the "Tools" button. Then click "Internet Options." Then click on "Security" and "Trusted Sites." Then you will need to click the "sites" button.
- In the next box, near the bottom, you will need to uncheck the box marked "Require server verification (https://) for all sites in this zone." (You can later recheck this box, after completion of the next step.)
- In the box under "Add this website to the zone:" type http://*.myvirtualpaper.com (you must include the "http://") in the box and click the "Add" button.
- If you'd like, at this point you can put the checkmark back in the box marked, "Require server verification (http://) for all sites in this zone.
- Click "Close" on this box and "Ok" on the next box.
- There is no need to restart your Internet Explorer or log out of The Club. You will now have access to the digital version of Bluff Magazine. This will not compromise the security settings of your computer.
